However, for the very first time, the design process was able to be well aware of the carbon emissions caused by the bag from the very start. The Carbon Footprint of POLKU consists of the main materials, metal details, lining, production, logistics, packaging and the end of the road in recycling, when your bag has served its time. All decisions made within this cycle have an impact on the emissions caused.
Multifunctionality
This tote was created to serve with many different functions, adjusting to your changing needs during days or years. The POLKU tote bag comes with adjustable & detachable handles and a crossbody strap. Add even more versatility with separate backpack straps.
Introducing the functions
1. Long strap with short handles - this allows you to easily carry the tote with you
2. No strap with long handles - flip the tote onto your shoulder by lengthening the handles for comfort and support
3. Just a crossbody - easy on the go for a bike ride or other means of transportation
