What does 100% recyclable bag mean?
100% recyclability means that the KAIKU bag is made from a completely new BrightBioKaiku material, which at the end of its life cycle can be returned to a chemical recycling process and transformed back into its original form, time and again, without any loss of quality.
This makes the bag truly unique, as it can be endlessly recycled within a closed loop. The design of the bag has also been carefully developed to ensure it contains no parts that are unsuitable for recycling.

It reflects the philosophy that every choice creates an impact to its surroundings, helping us understand the consequences of our actions. The bags have been created in collaboration with Brighplus and crafted from their bio-based BrightBio®KAIKU innovation material.

Brightplus is a green chemistry company from Oulu, Finland that produces sustainable material solutions for various industries.
Their groundbreaking BrightBio®KAIKU material utilises side-streams of food production to create a fully recyclable textile-like material from soy beans.
