Näky – Inspiration drawn from the power of intuition

Lovia's new elegant Näky jewelry collection is crafted at Kalevala's factory in Helsinki.

Kalevala is a well-known responsible jewelry maker, whose practices are based on environmental conservation, respect for human rights, and promoting the well-being of communities. The values of Lovia and Kalevala align, as both brands have always prioritized striving towards a more sustainable and equitable world.

Kalevala – created responsibly by the hands of artisans

The Näky jewelry collection was designed by Lovia's Creative Director Outi Korpilaakso, and the inspiration for the pieces comes from the pine cone scale, which has been shaped into an amulet symbolizing the power of intuition and awareness. The eye of the pine cone serves as a reminder of the importance of growing our consciousness in these times, so that we can gain the wisdom to act more thoughtfully—for the benefit of nature. Only with strong intuition and wisdom can we look deeper and, together, create a more sustainable future.

We want to be as transparent as possible about where our materials come from and what they truly contain, as, as the wearer of the jewelry, you have the right to know where and how the treasures you carry are made.

The Näky collection is made from bronze, a softer material that is easier to work with than precious metals. The material used is partially recycled.

The jewelry chains were crafted by Tero Hannonen, founder of Au3 Kultasepät, and his team in Helsinki Alppiharju.
