WE CREATE NEW LIFE FOR LEATHER PIECES THAT ARE TOO SMALL FOR LARGE FURNITURE

By excess leather we mean the pieces left aside from cutting large surfaces for manufacturing sofas and other furniture. For their small size, most of the perfectly usable quality leather pieces are discarded. We source excess interior excess leather from furniture factories in Finland. Interface is located in Heinola, Southern Finland.

The company

“After working over 30 years in the company, I am very proud that we can make all this beautiful furniture in Finland", says Eija Isomäki.

Interface sources the hides either from Europe or South America. All of the hides are tanned into leather in the Galzignano area in Italy.
